We are seeking a Shopify Agency with extensive experience in Shopify theme migration and development. The selected agency will handle the migration of our current Shopify theme to Shopify 2.0, ensuring all functionalities, third-party app integrations, and custom features are seamlessly transitioned. Additionally, the agency will set up a Git pipeline for managing and deploying theme updates efficiently and ensure that Google Tag Manager (GTM) and any custom integrations are correctly migrated and fully functional in the new theme.

Responsibilities:
??Theme Migration to Shopify 2.0
- Migrate the current Shopify theme to Shopify 2.0 while preserving the existing design, features, and functionality.
- Optimize the new theme to utilize Shopify 2.0's enhanced features, such as faster load times, improved flexibility, and advanced modularity.
?? Third-Party App Integration
- Ensure all third-party apps currently in use are integrated and functioning correctly in the new Shopify 2.0 environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any compatibility issues during the migration process.
??Custom Development and Integrations
- Recreate or optimize custom features and functionalities for compatibility with Shopify 2.0.
- Ensure that Google Tag Manager (GTM) configurations, custom events, and any custom integrations (e.g., scripts, analytics tools, or APIs) are migrated correctly and tested thoroughly.
- Address any additional requirements for custom integrations.
??Git Pipeline Setup
- Set up a Git pipeline for efficient version control and deployment of the Shopify theme.
- Train internal team members (if required) on using the Git pipeline for managing theme updates.
??Testing and Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the migrated theme works seamlessly across all devices and browsers.
- Verify all third-party apps, GTM configurations, custom integrations, and functionalities are performing as expected post-migration.
??Documentation and Support
- Provide detailed documentation of the migration process, app integrations, GTM setup, and Git pipeline configuration.
- Offer post-migration support for any issues or additional adjustments.
Qualifications:
??Preferably with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related fields.
??2-3 years of proven experience in Shopify theme migration, specifically to Shopify 2.0.
??Expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and theme customization.
??Strong understanding of Shopify's API, third-party app integrations, and Google Tag Manager configurations.
??Experience with custom event tracking via GTM and ensuring proper data flow to tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4.
??Proficiency with Git version control and setting up CI/CD pipelines for Shopify themes.
??Excellent troubleshooting skills to address compatibility and performance issues.
