Sign Language Interpreter Location: Marietta, GA Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week) Dates: ASAP - May 23, 2025 Caseload: 1:1 support for an elementary student Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Sign Language Interpreter to provide dedicated support to an elementary student in a school setting near Marietta, GA. The ideal candidate will facilitate effective communication between the student and their peers and educators, ensuring an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 interpreting services for an elementary student using American Sign Language (ASL). Support the student in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement appropriate strategies for communication and learning. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions. Document services provided and monitor student progress. Qualifications: Active GaPSC License. EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, in compliance with state requirements.
