In this role, you will provide administrative medical leadership within a Cortica site, including direct management and supervision of physicians and nurse practitioners, and provide medical care to patients with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical team.
What will you do? Clinical Duties (90% of Role): Provide direct patient care, both in-person and via telehealth, to pediatric and adult patients within the scope of Cortica's patient population.Perform all required activities related to patient care, including history taking, exams, clinical decision-making, order entry, appropriate referrals, documentation, and other necessary tasks to ensure high standards of clinical quality and timeliness.Meet productivity standards and maintain the expected ratio of new patient visits to follow-up visits based on patient panel size.Complete clinical documentation timely, with 80% of encounters finished the same day and 100% within two business days.Communicate patient care plans to medical assistants face-to-face following each appointment and respond to all patient-care needs within a clinically appropriate time frame, not exceeding two business days.Demonstrate commitment and proficiency in comprehensive multidisciplinary care for pediatric neurodevelopment and initiative in advancing knowledge and skills in delivering the Cortica Model.Lead, present, and teach at Weekly Rounds and other educational events.Site Medical Program Administrative Duties (10% of Role): Oversee recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training and performance for new physicians and other medical practitioners.Collaborate with Area and Site administrative leaders to achieve clinical and operational excellence.Achieve clinical and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Site medical program.Lead, inspire, and motivate the Site medical team and broader clinical/operational team to align and execute on Cortica's mission.Participate in business development, program leadership, community outreach, and payer relations.We'd love to hear from you if: You completed Medical School from an Accredited University.You have completed Residency in Pediatrics or Child Neurology.You are Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics, Child Neurology, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities, or other related specialty.You currently possess an unrestricted medical license in the corresponding states of which you are responsible for or have the ability to obtain one.You have previous experience in a clinical leadership position (preferred).The base pay range for this opening is $212,000 to $276,000. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
