As previously mentioned, as the company expands, this role is expected to transition from a Site Quality Manager position into a Corporate Quality Manager role, overseeing the organization's entire QMS.
Job Description Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product/service quality and operational efficiency.Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management.Managing the daily activity of quality staff including lead persons, auditors, label personnel and clerical positions.Maintain SPC (statistical process control) as a working tool in the plantIdentify, measure and maintain key customer satisfaction measurements (OTIF, DI, Response time)Ensure that all federal and local UN, DOT, EPA and FDA regulations are being conformed to and that reporting is being kept up to date.Assist the plant manager with any issues regarding quality investigation or quality reportingDevelop and implement the ISO conforming quality and documentation system.

The Successful Applicant 3-10 years of quality experienceStrong background in packaging or a similar fieldBRC packaging and packaging material implementation experience is a plusBackground in measuring process using SPCLead auditor certification in the BRC standards OR strong audit experienceExperience in cost reduction, production efficiency improvements and continuous improvement activitiesResponsible for ensuring the compliance of Food Product Safety and meet the expectations of our customers.
