As a site reliability engineer on our team, you'll help the IC develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure.
You'll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible.
You'll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair.

You Have: Experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and using tools, including EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, or IAM permissions Experience with implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while isolating and resolving problems, including the applications, operating systems, communications, or infrastructure Experience with providing systems and account administration consistent with system requirements Experience with providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers Ability to support shift work TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in IT, Associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in IT, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in IT Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date Nice If You Have: Experience with network devices, including firewall administration Knowledge of trouble ticketing systems and processes Knowledge of government security practices and policies Ability to navigate problems quickly and route issues to proper priority Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD).
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
