Sleep Tech Ii (Registered, Full-Time) - Sleep Lab

Description Performs clinical diagnostic procedures for patients with sleep related disorders. This may include polysomnography, positive airway pressure therapy and scoring. Is responsible for overseeing the administration of oxygen and positive airway pressure when applied by the polysomnographic technician. Other duties may include patient and community education, marketing, and inventory management.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required
X Graduate of JRCRTE and AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy X Preferred
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
X Registered as a Polysomnographer by the BRPT.
Minimum Work Experience:
One (1) year in respiratory therapy or sleep technology preferred.
