What You'll Do

The Small Commercial Lines Account Manager is primarily responsible for servicing a diverse book of small commercial lines insurance policies while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals. Responsibilities include:

Provide comprehensive client support and act as main client contact for book of business.
Negotiate and sell lines of insurance to clients; own all audit, review, and claims processes for assigned book of business.
Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.
Provide clients with Insurance Coverage Review and reviews methods of handling risks while identifying and explaining gaps in coverage. What You'll Need

3+ years of Small Commercial Insurance Sales experience
Current P&C license and willingness to acquire CIC designation.
Commitment to purse continuing education as mandated by the CT Insurance Department.
Comprehensive knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business classification, as well as informed on industry trends and client retention strategies.
A strong customer service aptitude and the ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
Strong attention to detail, decision making skills, and problem resolution.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM.
