Small Equipment/Hot Shot Driver Independence Excavating is looking for a hard working and ambitious Class A Hot Shot driver in our Pittsburgh location. This position does require Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.

A typical day looks like: Loading and unloading trucks and trailers with required tools, parts, equipment, materials, etc.Keeping accurate DOT, local, state and federal regulations and paperworkKeeping accurate company paperwork in order to track the location of each item every time it is moved to a new locationPerforming miscellaneous yard, shop, or other duties as neededMaintaining cleanliness of assigned vehicle on a daily basisComplying with all safety procedures and trainingAbility to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections making sure truck and trailer are in safe operating conditionsOther duties as assigned Do you have what it takes? Class A CDL; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required1-2 years' Class A driving experienceMust possess a strong work ethic, and be a dependable and trustworthy addition to our field support teamMust be able to effectively communicate verbally with co-workers and suppliersMust be able to work independently as well as in a team environmentMust be able to lift over 70lbs, plan routes, contribute ideas, be part of a team and do all with safety as your primary concernPass a pre-employment drug screen, an MVR review, a DOT physical and a background checkAbility to work in a fast pace environmentResponsible for a safe work environment for yourself and your coworkers Why IX?
