Position Overview: Social Media Internship
Are you passionate about leveraging social media to drive meaningful change? Join our Marketing and Communications team as a Social Media Intern! This role offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate in crafting engaging content across platforms, with a particular focus on captivating short-form videos. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in amplifying awareness of Active Minds' vital programming.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Social Media team to develop compelling content, particularly short-form videos, to enhance visibility of our initiatives.
Engage in creative ideation and execution of social media campaigns, fostering interaction and connection with our audience.
Assist in managing various social media platforms, ensuring consistency and resonance with our mission.
Contribute to the creation of shareable content that resonates with our audience and advances mental health advocacy.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated passion for and experience in social media management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Team player mentality with a keen willingness to learn and grow.
Interest in video filming and editing, with comfort appearing on-screen.
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, and Dropbox.
Experience with Canva is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Encouraged submission of a portfolio showcasing past social media projects and experiences.
Internship Details:
Duration: Fall 2024 Semester (September 16, 2024 - November 29, 2024)
Work Commitment: Minimum of 20 hours per week, between 9:00am and 5:00pm EST, Monday to Friday.
Location: Remote
Stipend: $1,250 per month
