Tombras, an independent, 400+ person full-service advertising agency is searching for a Social Media Director to join our team.

The Tombras social media team has made some of your favorite work on the internet – from MoonPie tweets to Steak-umm activations in the metaverse and real-time surprise & delight moments for beloved brands like Josh Cellars wine and SunChips. This role reports to the Organic Social team and is responsible for managing day-to-day social media efforts for clients, working closely with team leadership and other departments to create world-class social first campaigns and ensure real-time trends and strong platform strategies are utilized.
The ideal candidate combines creativity, strategy, and analytics experience to contribute to our efforts across all social channels and help grow and evolve our social practice at Tombras.
\n What you will be doing:Connecting brands to real people in real-time, all the time Contribute to best-in-class social media strategies spanning audience insights, channel mix, content strategy, community management, influencer marketing, and more Contribute to execution of omnichannel social campaigns from delivering creative concept through deployment, optimization, and results analysis Collaborate with in-house creative directors, community managers, brand strategists, project managers, account teams, and analysts Help drive social strategy and playbook creation across all clients Present creative concepts and performance analysis to agency leadership and clients with confidence Continuously explore new social platforms, functionalities, and technologies to push boundaries Move at the speed of social! Which means more opportunities to make exceptional and impactful content What you bring:5+ years of experience in social media management, strategy and content creation Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with social media analytics and reporting toolsAbility to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently under pressureAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsAbility to proofread content for grammatical accuracy and maintain style consistency across pieces Public speaking skills to ensure ideas are presented effectively and coherently Passion for current and emerging social media platforms, trends, and best practicesStrong project management and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAn attitude of positivity, adaptability, curiosity, and exploration
