A Day in Your Life as an Equitas Teacher:Lead rigorous instruction in Social Studies, utilizing our curriculum: McGraw Hill's Impact. Deliver instructional materials that you have prepared based on our rigorous and aligned curriculum.Communicate and collaborate with families regarding the behavior and academic progress of their student.Maintain high academic and behavioral expectations for students.Demonstrate a warm demander style with scholars in the classroom and school community.Approach class community building and repair with culturally responsive and restorative practices. Start your day by 7:15am with a school team huddle and end at 3:30pm after scholar dismissal.Daily prep time and a duty-free lunch period.Weekly collaborative grade level team meeting.Regular 03 (one-on-one meeting and feedback session) with your coach or supervisor.Supervise and facilitate portions of Community Meeting (our school assembly) weekly on Friday.Attend IEP, SST, and 504 meetings as scheduled.Active participation in weekly professional development aimed at refining both school culture and academics.Perform other duties to support our students and school community.
