We're looking for an experienced Software Architect to join our Data Analytics - Business Insights team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Engineering, you'll be responsible to:
Build scalable distributed Data Analytics applications to provide actionable business insights. Lead all aspects of the product development lifecycle – requirements research, discussion/analysis, design, implementation, code reviews, unit testing, documentation, POCs, deployment, and continuing engineering. Research, investigate, and evaluate new technologies to enhance our product directions. Partner with teams to ensure that the project is delivered in its entirety. Recommend and maintain technical design methodologies, processes, and standards. Estimate complex projects and help implement project plans. What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 12+ years of experience in Software engineering with 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Lead/Architect within the Data and Analytics industry. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficient in Java programming and distributed application development. Experience in data modeling and database design with strong knowledge of query engines like Hive/KQL/SQL. Experience in Cloud Big data technologies like Azure Data Explore, Spark, Hive, S3, Snowflake, etc. What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Knowledge of statistics and machine learning. Experience in building AI-based data analytics applications. Experience in building large scale data analytics solutions in Security and/or Networking space. This role is based in our San Jose, CA office. Hybrid environment, 3 days a week in the office.
