Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Analyst to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing software requirements, developing functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful software development and implementation.


Key Responsibilities: Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company's custom software products and become a subject matter expert in specific products and in their functionality and use cases.
User Story Development: Translate high-level concepts into epics and features, and subsequently into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Support: Manage inbound support inquiries, triage issues, and assign them to the respective teams for resolution and follow up.
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders, including business users and technical teams, to gather and document software requirements.
Analysis and Design: Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and develop detailed functional specifications and system designs.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including use cases, process flows, and system specifications, to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
Testing and Validation: Perform software testing and assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases to validate that software meets specified requirements and is bug free.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to software functionality and performance, providing recommendations for improvements.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on project progress, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software analysis and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
Communication: Provide regular progress reports and updates on tasks and job estimates to stakeholders and supervisor and as necessary Qualifications:2+ years' experience as a Software Analyst, Business Analyst, Software Developer or similar role.
Experience with software testing and validation processes.
Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and technical specifications.
Experience with programming and/or scripting languages.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Familiarity with development project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
Interpersonal skills: serve as a liaison between, the software developers, end-user and stakeholders.
Self-Starter: Applicants must be self-motivated individuals with the ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.
Knowledge of database management and SQL.
Understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Certification in software analysis or related fields.
