\n What You'll accomplish:Design, implement, and optimize motion planning and controls algorithms for an autonomous mobile robot.Research and develop cutting edge techniques to enhance the safety and speed of our robot.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate your contributions into the broader hardware and software system.Iterate, test, and tune solutions to improve performance and reliability of the mobile manipulation system, both in simulation and on a real robotic system.Play a key role in designing and contributing to the architecture of scalable software systems that support the deployment of multiple robots in diverse and dynamic environments.Act as mentor to other software engineers to improve the team's overall capabilities in planning and control Who You Are:A software engineer with Bachelors Degree and over 5 years of experience or Masters Degree or higher with equivalent years of experience working in robotics environments. Industry experience is a plusA graduate with at least a bachelor's degree in robotics, computer science, or similar discipline. Master's degree or higher is preferred.Proficient in Python. Experience in other relevant languages is a plusExperienced with motion planning and controls for robotics systems, with a strong understanding of robot kinematics and dynamics. Experience with mathematical optimization for motion planning is strongly preferred.Collaborative and communicative, focusing discussions on problem solving ideas and experiments to drive product innovation.Experienced in working with complex algorithms and capable of optimizing for performance and reliability.Detail-oriented, but with a system level mindset.
