Job Description:
Software Developer Senior
Develop software in LabVIEW programming environment for sensor acquisition and actuator control systems.
Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems for onboard ship and submarine research.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.
Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software.
Conduct testing with actual system hardware and document test results.
Conduct troubleshooting of existing LabVIEW systems in a development / test lab environment
What You'll Need To Succeed:
Education: BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience specializing in LabVIEW software development
Required Technical Skills: Must be at least a Certified LabVIEW developer (CLD), Certified LabVIEW architect (CLA) preferred
Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
Required Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with developing for wide range of National Instruments (NI) products both DAQmx and FPGA based.
