The Health AI org is looking for an SDE to join AWS HealthLake (AHL). AHL is a HIPAA eligible service for clinical data ingestion, storage and analysis utilizing the Healthcare Interoperability FHIR specification. The AHL Maelstrom team owns FHIR Search and Analytics capabilities. The team builds and operates a FHIR Search service that indexes FHIR resources into Open Search domains and enables complex, standards based searches, an analytics transform ETL pipeline that streams FHIR data into AWS analytics platforms and Control Plane workflows to provision and manage AWS infrastructure.Key job responsibilitiesA SDE2 in AHL is able to independently contribute towards feature development and Ops excellence. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
