As a Web Software Engineer joining WHOOP's Growth team, you will work directly on our e-commerce platform, developing features that increase our sales and provide a delightful experience for our members. We make data-driven decisions since any change we make can impact our revenue directly. This will require a strong knowledge of web technologies as well as a strong desire to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help execute WHOOP's vision to build/scale an ecommerce platform that allows WHOOP to offer accessories to our members
Contribute to web development: JavaScript, Java, AWS and Postgres
Interface with 3rd party e-commerce platforms: Shopify, CommerceTools, and Stripe
Work collaboratively in a business growth environment with a product and technical vision
Build software that will solve the needs of multiple cross-functional teams
Consistently deliver features and code with an iterative approach
Facilitate, coordinate, and develop ad hoc experiments to promote growth
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience in React development
Experience with REST APIs & relational databases
Positive attitude and ownership mentality
Strong communication skills to work both collaboratively and independently

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
