Enveda is looking for a Software Engineer II - Lab Sciences to join our Boulder team! The contribution you will make: As a Software Engineer on Enveda's Lab Sciences software team, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining a core set of enabling libraries and tools using cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with Research Scientists, Data Scientists, DevOps and Data Engineers to deliver scalable, robust solutions.  As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will report to the Director, Engineering.
\n You get to collaborate on:Designing and building scalable services that support product initiatives within Enveda's research laboratory settingsBuilding reusable packages and librariesDelivering scalable production-ready solutionsWriting and peer reviewing maintainable, high quality, and well tested codeEnsuring that all software solutions are secure, versioned, performant, reliable, observable, traceable and testableWorking efficiently and flexibly with team members across multiple geographiesCommunicating the status of projects, challenges, results, and proposed paths forward across internal and external stakeholders, teams, and time zones Who will thrive in this role?Proficient in Python and SQLExperience in JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React)Experience with cloud infrastructureStrong programming background that incorporates methodologies like data structures, design patterns, OOP, and test driven developmentBiotech industry software experience preferred but not requiredBS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field of study.2+ years of proven experience designing and developing production level softwareIf you don't meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply.
