Software Engineer

We're looking for engineer #3 to join our fast-paced and mission-driven team.
About the jobWe are Change, a growing startup in the legal tech space. We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in San Francisco. This role requires a strong background in software development and a drive to work at a fast-paced startup. You would be our 3rd full-time engineer and 7th team member, with lots of opportunities for ownership and growth.
In-person, San Francisco (FiDi, near BART and MUNI).

About youYou have 2+ years of experience working on web applications at a legal tech company.You have previous experience working in a startup with fewer than 200 employees or a strong desire to work at a small, growing startup.You have familiarity with next-gen AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).You have full-stack experience, with TS/JS & Ruby on Rails preferred but not required.You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Drive innovation by architecting and scaling systems to meet growth demands.
Work with engineering, marketing, and customer success to deliver optimal customer experiences.
