Software Development Engineer in Test Our client is a banking institution based in Boston, MA looking to hire a Software Development Engineer in Test. This individual will lead the overall vision, development, and ongoing strategy of products, with a focus on leveraging Generative AI and other top of the market methods in data science, machine learning, and analytics. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role is fully remote. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, create test plans, and define test cases Identify, document, and track defects Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality software releases Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, best practices, and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle Develop and execute performance tests to ensure scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications. Ensure Seamless integration of various components and systems, validating end-to-end functionality and performance Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for tools, frameworks, test plans, test cases and test results Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in software development and test automation in a similar role Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python Deep understating of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, EBS, Aurora, KMS, Cloudwatch Experience with test automation tools and frameworks Strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing principles Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, or Azure DevOps Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner or similar.
