They are searching for a Motion Planning Software Engineer to support and scale efforts for their Behavior Planning Team.
In this role, you will Develop real-time algorithms for selecting safe and comfortable trajectories for a self-driving vehicleDesign metric suites and testing workflows for rapid iteration on algorithmsDesign and implement efficient production-grade software for the self-driving systemProvide technical leadership for the architectural elements of online and offline systems for evaluating good trajectories Required Qualifications BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field8+ years of strong programming and software design skills in C++, especially in low latency or real-time environmentsExpertise with GPU or ML toolkits such as CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, and/or TensorRTExperience in designing, building, and productionizing motion planning algorithms (cost function design, optimization, and sampling-based techniques), state estimation algorithms, or statistical techniques Compensation The base salary range for this position is $168k-$252k per year. The pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
