Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer at East Oakland Community Project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects that directly impact our community. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support our programs and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
System Integration: Work on integrating various systems and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and communication between applications. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Technical Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing applications. Assist users in resolving technical issues and ensure optimal performance of software solutions.
Code Review and Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Conduct testing and debugging to maintain high-quality software deliverables.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including user manuals, technical specifications, and system architecture diagrams.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Requirements:
