About the Role We are seeking a senior engineer to build and maintain our sensor simulation cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will enhance the development and deployment of our sensor simulation product, which is essential for customers to develop, test, and validate sensor suites and perception systems. The scale of our product's compute and data generation exceeds that of typical cloud products, and you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and advancement of this system.
You will work closely with the sensor simulation and core infrastructure teams to support backend success and deployment to customers. Key Responsibilities: Architect and deploy advanced sensor simulation tools across major platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with minimal downtime and high reliability.Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices.Collaborate with engineers and customers on current and future designs and features. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure, monitoring, or large-scale software products.Proficiency in C++ or Python (3+ years of experience).Experience with microservice orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.Experience working with containerized systems (e.g., Docker). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with autonomous vehicles or simulation products, including sensor simulation. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits. The base salary is part of the total compensation package, which may also include equity (options and/or restricted stock units), comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Benefits may vary based on the jurisdiction of employment.
Base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $222,000 USD annually. The actual salary offered will be influenced by experience, credentials, educational attainment, skill level, interview performance, and the scope of the position.
