The Virtualization team is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of system software engineers responsible for the development of the Apple Virtual Platform and related technologies to build and deliver an amazing virtualization experience for Apple products. This is a highly multi-function role that demands a self-starting, ambitious individual who excels in collaboration and innovation, while focusing on building, developing, and leading teams. You'll be engaging and collaborating with teams across Apple, touching silicon and software, on new technologies and features related to virtualization.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience leading a software-development teamExperience with firmware, device-driver, and/or kernel-level developmentProven track record of delivering software aligned with project and program schedulesHistory of setting aggressive yet attainable goals and motivating teams to achieve themPreferred QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical EngineeringKnowledge of modern processor architectures and supporting hardwareExperience with virtualizationAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
