Job Summary

Emphasys Software, a Portfolio Company of Constellation Software, is looking for an extremely bright, energetic self-starter with proven software project implementation experience.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will manage the implementation process for an assigned client list, working directly with clients to identify, prioritize and manage strategic needs for an efficient and effective implementation.
The ideal candidate will be polished, professional, have a positive, upbeat attitude and have previous experience working in a similar type of work environment (PHA, tech, startup or similar).
The office is a fast-paced work environment; we are looking for someone who is confident, able to work independently and be an incredible, proactive team player who loves a challenge.
The perfect fit will have a balance of communication, technical, and people skills.
This role will report to the Director of Professional Services.


Responsibilites and Duties Manage the implementation process for an assigned client list, working directly with
clients to identify, prioritize and manage strategic needs for an efficient and effective
implementation.
Drive the review of client processes and consult on the development of new workflow
plans.
Ensure success of the project by taking ownership of deliverables and assist/perform
analysis, testing, support, training, or other tasks as necessary.
Coordinate data conversions, integrations, and other timelines and expectations.
Manage project budget to ensure timely, profitable delivery of service.
Ensure implementation milestones and phases are met on time and on budget.
Communicate and manage internal and external implementation requirements and
expectations.
Assure client satisfaction and manage the client relationship during the implementation
process.
Train new or existing clients on our application.
Hand off to the Customer Care and Client Managers when client has successfully
launched.
Assist management with special assignments, such as evaluating vendors,
gathering/evaluating consultant proposals, or other responsibilities as requested.
QualificationsDegree in Accounting or related field of study.
CPA not required.
Minimum three (3) years work experience as full charge accountant including, but not limited to, accounts payment, accounts receivable, balance sheet analysis, budgeting, year end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
Familiarity with GAAP requirements and audit procedures.
Experience in housing or other non-profit accounting preferred, including federal and state grants.
Proven, prior software full life cycle implementation experience preferred.
Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills for both compassion for customers and a "whatever it takes" attitude with teammates.
Advanced documentation skills for both daily interactions with customers and more detailed, technical workflow for the engineering team.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Excellent organization skills and detail oriented.
Ability to travel up to 30%.
