About the Role In the Software Integration Engineer intern role, you will work closely with various teams at Teleo to develop new features for and improve the overall user experience of Teleo's Supervised Autonomy software stack. As part of this role, you will touch a variety of subsystems including integration with sensors, UI/Frontend, safety critical controllers and wireless communication links.
\n ResponsibilitiesWork with various teams to expand the Teleo fleet to new models of heavy machinery.Advance the functionality of the Teleo system by developing new features that enhance the productivity of heavy machinery operators.Deploy features to job sites and work with customer-facing teams and operators to collect feedback for improvements Minimum QualificationsOngoing/completed Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Python, JavaScript.Project work (preferably in a group setting) in Robotics, Computer Vision or related domains.Strong enthusiasm for continuous learning, including reviewing and contributing to pull requests and design reviews. Preferred QualificationsExperience using middleware frameworks such as ROS(2), ZeroMQ, MQTT, etc.Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.Experience working with sensor modalities such as cameras, IMU, GNSS, INS, lidar, radar, etc.Experience with perception projects involving cameras and/or lidar for tasks such as object detection, scene segmentation, depth estimation, free space estimation, etc.Self-motivated and capable of planning and completing tasks independently.
