AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build some of the most scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. AWS Solutions Architects collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
The RoleYou will be supporting Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). You will start by understanding your customer's strategic growth initiatives and new business ventures and guide your customers on how to achieve these goals by defining the right service architecture. You will lead technical efforts to ensure the deployment meets your customers' requirements.
You will partner with Sales, Professional Services, AWS Partners, and other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our services.
You will have the opportunity to help define and execute a strategy to build deep adoption and broad use of AWS within your enterprise customers, and you will do this by mobilizing resources within AWS and working with our extensive partner network. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large scale distributed computing solutions, and experience leading deep architecture discussions, and hands-on experience.
Travel is national, and is expected to be 15-20%.
