About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Solutions Engineering Manager to lead our solutions and support engineering teams. This customer-facing, business-critical role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and empathy to build and support high-quality solutions for Healthie's customers.

In this player-coach role, you'll work closely with our implementation and support engineers to ensure customer success on Healthie's developer platform. You'll balance day-to-day customer support with the long-term vision to scale our enterprise solutions. Additionally, you'll mentor and develop engineers on your team through coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Customer Engineering, this position is ideal for someone with strong technical leadership in SaaS, integration management, and team building, particularly in healthcare technology. We're looking for grit, resilience, and a passion for delivering world-class customer experiences while solving problems hands-on.

Details This is a full-time, Remote position, located in the United States. The base salary for this role is $180,000 - $200,000 per year. U.S. work authorization is required and Healthie does not provide sponsorship. About You You have 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role in a technical SaaS role (bonus for healthcare tech). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences. You have a proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, setting goals and driving performance. You excel at building relationships, leading with influence, and motivating teams to achieve high performance. You take ownership of recruiting and building top-performing teams. You are a strong problem-solver, able to quickly resolve technical issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience building customer-facing APIs, webhook, and integration workflows. Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, and RSpe. You thrive in self-directed environments, with a bias toward execution and a focus on delivering results. You are passionate about healthcare, committed to improving patient outcomes, and continuously improving the customer experience.
