Job Summary The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible to operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment as directed by physicians to perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree is required. License/Certification/Registration A.R.R.T. or ARDMS registration BLS is required within six months of employment. Completion of the Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter. Work Schedule As the need arise in the radiology department; PRN (as needed) Flexible scheduling ~ One - two days/per week. Day shifts, M-F. No scheduled weekends, on call or holidays. Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.
