This is a casual/PRN position. Casual/PRN employees work on an 'as needed' basis to meet the needs of the business. Work days/hours will often vary from week to week.
Typical Schedule: Varied shifts including on-call, weekends and potential holiday coverage.
Provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.

Job Description: Job Requirements Education American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or board eligible required.Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program required.Experience One year general and vascular Sonography preferred.License/Certifications Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or board eligible required.Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential is required within one year of employment date.Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential of the Abdomen (AD) and OB/GYN are preferred.Participation in mandatory inservices and continuing education as mandated by policies & procedures, and as directed by supervisors.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and family members as well as hospital personnel and coworkers required.Ability to effectively organize work in order to perform several tasks at once required.Attends mandatory inservices and continuing education programs mandated by policies and procedures, external agencies and directed by supervisor.Must be able to follow established Universal Standard and Radiation Safety precautions.Position requires flexibility to accommodate fluctuation in daily schedule, including but not limited to overtime, irregular hours or on-call responsibilities.Physical Requirements Weight DemandsMedium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force.Physical Activity Not necessary for the position (0%):Occasionally Performed (1%-33%):Frequently Performed (34%-66%):Constantly Performed (67%-100%):Job Hazards Not Related:Rare (1-33%):Occasionally (34%-66%):
