The Sourcing Analyst role for Indirect Procurement will support the global and regional Indirect Procurement function goals and objectives for evaluating, initiating, and developing world class supply programs.
Primary support is provided through research and analytics, performance tracking, action items management, contract management and progress reporting.
The role reports into the Head of Indirect Procurement and is one of four analyst roles across Indirect Procurement.
The position will be virtual within the continental US and may be required to attend meetings during non-office hours as needed to support our international operation.
**Responsibilities**
+ **Market Research and Analysis** : Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, industry trends, and pricing benchmarks for various spend categories.
Analyze market data to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations.
+ **Supplier Evaluation** : Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, delivery, and service.
Support the development of and reporting on supplier performance metrics and scorecards.
+ **Cost Analysis** : Analyze cost structures and pricing models to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in the development of total cost of ownership (TCO) assessments for procurement decisions.
+ **Contract Management Support** : Help in abstracting and recalling contract data for reporting and actioning.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
+ **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams** : Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including finance, budgetary owners, and legal, to align procurement strategies with goals and execute and follow up on projects.
+ **Reporting and Documentation** : Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and department performance.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier communications.
+ **Procurement Operations Support** : Support sourcing teams and function leads in setting up and editing supplier records, requesting purchase orders, following up with general supplier questions, and other procurement department support activities.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree in supply chain management, finance, business, or similar required
+ 3 or more years of procurement, supply chain or financial planning experience required.
+ Proficient using visual analytics platforms such as Excel, Tableau or comparable required.
+ Basic accounting and financial modeling experience preferred.
+ Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and work independently.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
