Job Description
The role of Indirect Materials Sourcing Manager involves overseeing the sourcing operations related to various spend categories, such as MRO, Packaging, IT, HR Services, Marketing, Installation Services, among others. The main duties entail crafting and implementing sourcing strategies aimed at optimizing performance while minimizing total cost of ownership, along with maintaining and negotiating supplier relationships. Additionally, the position involves spearheading productivity enhancements and fostering cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee strategic sourcing initiatives across all indirect spend categories.
• Analyze spending data to pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction, consolidation of suppliers, and non-contracted spend.
• Develop, document, and implement processes and systems aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct effective negotiations for contracts and maintain strong business relationships.
• Plan and execute comprehensive supplier business reviews encompassing all facets of the supplier-customer relationship.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and functional teams to identify savings opportunities through VAVE and Supply Chain optimization.
• Continuously update and assess metrics to gauge performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure suppliers adhere to federal, national, regional, and local laws and regulations.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Anticipated travel requirement: 10-20%.
