Our number one job is to ensure that the time spent in our spa is the best part of our guests' day. We do this by providing top level customer service, assisting guests with deciding which service or membership is right for them, and keeping all of our spas and equipment in pristine condition.
This is a part-time position but our ideal candidate will be able to commit to at least 12 hours per week (2 or 3 shifts) with one Saturday or Sunday per week. Starting pay for the position is $15.25 per hour and you will be making $17.25 per hour within one year of completing our training and certification program. We also have a generous bonus program based on product and membership sales. Our average Spa Consultant makes an additional $1 to $4 per hour worked through their bonuses. Our team receives tips because we go above and beyond for everyone of our guests.
During a typical shift you will need to:Provide a consistently high level of customer service to all Soleil Tans guests.Sell memberships, upselling existing members, and helping guests.Understand each lotion and upsells to each guest.Understand each bed and upsells to each guest as appropriate.Understand health and safety issues and can clearly convey information to guests.Handle data entry duties in a timely and accurate manner.Work with management to maintain top level customer service and exceed standard tanning industry expectations.Work with management to train, mentor and support new Spa Consultants.Ensure laundry, facility and equipment are kept clean and well maintained at all times.Follow bed cleaning schedule and procedures as requested.Uphold Soleil Tans image in all employee, guest and general public relations.Attend all mandatory meetings (this time is paid!) Minimum Requirements:Experience in a customer-facing role – we are looking for customer service rockstars!Must be friendly and enthusiastic.Must be neat, well-groomed and attentive to appearance.Must be on-time and prepared to work as scheduled.Available at least 12 hours per week including at least one Saturday or Sunday per week. Preferred Requirements:At least one year in a retail or other sales-driven environment. You will be paid on sales of memberships and other products. If you help us grow, you WILL get paid. Compensation:Starting pay is $15.25/hour with a guaranteed raise to $17.25/hour one year after completing our training and certification program.Monthly sales bonuses based on your individual and company performance.
