A client in the Southern California area is looking for a Space & Launch Market Director to join their team. This candidate will lead all business development and proposal efforts for the client's Commercial and Privatized Space Unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Development within the Defense or Commercial Space Industry, with a recent focus on Commercial/Private Space Industry. This Director will lead the strategic development and growth of this Business Unit, targeting "New Space Age" opportunities and new government funding avenues through commercial clientele. It is strongly preferred that this candidate come from an Engineering or Technical background, and have been Business Development focused for the last 10-15 years. This candidate will report directly into the VP of Space Programs and the Chief Growth Officer of the company. This position will require 40%-50% travel nationwide.
Pay Range: 175K-220K w/ Bonus Opportunities
