Our Associate Dual Language Immersion Teachers play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old). Dual Language Immersion teachers speak Spanish throughout the day with the students and conduct lessons under the direction of a trained Montessori teacher. This is a full-time position as a member of a teaching team to deliver on our mission to develop a lifelong love of learning in our students , while exposing students to the Spanish language.
Associate Responsibilities
Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;Speak the Spanish language throughout the day to provide a dual-language experience for students and create and implement Spanish lessons with students in accordance with the Montessori philosophy;Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment;Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students. 21 years of age or olderNative or fluent Spanish speakerMinimum Required: CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college courseworkPreferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development) Associate Benefits
Annual salary of $37,000-$39,000 with future earning potential and career advancement; Option to pursue Montessori Teacher Certification with highly subsidized tuition and strong career path as well as many other training opportunities and a focus on growth and development.Copious time off including accrued PTO days and approximately 25 paid holidays throughout the year;Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K more!Tuition discounts for children of faculty.
