The ideal candidate will have experience working with students across K-12 age groups and be familiar with supporting students with moderate to severe behaviors . Candidates with a CDE Special Services License are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Psychological Assessments: Conduct assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs. Utilize this information to develop targeted interventions and support plans. Behavioral Support: Provide expertise in managing moderate to severe behaviors . Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure positive behavioral outcomes. IEP and 504 Plan Development: Work closely with special education teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans for students requiring additional support. Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention support and strategies when needed to address emergency situations and provide emotional support to students and staff. Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students, ensuring that their academic and social-emotional needs are met. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to meet the evolving needs of students. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. CDE Special Services License preferred. Experience working with students across a variety of K-12 age groups . Strong knowledge of behavior management strategies and experience working with students exhibiting moderate to severe behaviors . Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
