Special Education Teacher

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required. Dates: ASAP- 06/09/2024 Pay: $38-$45 Position: Full-time Soliant isis seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for a self-contained classroom. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Provide direct instruction and support to students in a self-contained setting. Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success and progress. Assess students academic and behavioral needs, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate student records, including IEP goals, progress reports, and behavior documentation. Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices in special education. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Valid Alabama Professional Certificate in Special Education. Must meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements, or a willingness to meet the requirements. Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
