We are actively seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team remotely. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive special education services to students, ensuring adherence to local and state requirements.
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
State certification or eligibility for certification as a Special Education Teacher.
Preferred: Previous experience in special education settings.
Deep understanding of local and state regulations governing special education services.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs via online platforms.
Provide direct instruction to students in accordance with IEP goals and objectives, utilizing virtual teaching tools.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive online learning environments.
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed to meet individualized needs.
Utilize assistive technology and specialized materials to support student learning in an online setting.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and participation using virtual documentation systems.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities as required.
