Special Education Teacher Needed

Minimum 1+ years teaching experience required. We are seeking a dedicated and certified Special Education Teacher to join our team in a full-time, co-teaching role. This position involves collaborating with general education teachers to support students with special needs within an inclusive classroom setting. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students. Key Responsibilities: Co-teach alongside general education teachers to provide individualized support to students with special needs. Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and adjust instructional strategies to ensure students' success. Work collaboratively with other staff, including paraprofessionals and support specialists, to provide tailored instruction and accommodations. Maintain open communication with students, parents, and team members to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications: Must have an active Georgia Special Education Certification Proven experience or training in co-teaching models is highly preferred. Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and instructional techniques. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
