As our Special Projects Supervisor, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of small to mid-sized construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, timelines and budgets. Every day we'll rely on you to create accurate cost estimates, manage and coordinate subcontractors, monitor project budgets and develop and manage client relationships. To thrive in this role, you should leverage your knowledge and experience in interior renovations and maintenance services to meet client expectations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, with the goal of securing repeat business.
\n What you'll doProject Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan that defines scope, budget, and timeline, achieving alignment with all departments and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met within specified constraints.Budget Management: Oversee and control project expenses, ensuring alignment with the approved budget while providing regular financial reports that demonstrate project profitability and efficiency.Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate materials, labor, and equipment for the project, sourcing unique materials or specialized subcontractors as necessary, to maximize resource utilization and reduce waste.Risk Management: Identify and address potential project risks unique to specialized projects, including technical challenges and regulatory hurdles, by developing and implementing proactive risk management strategies that ensure project continuity and success.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Achieve project delivery in strict adherence to industry quality standards and building codes, guaranteeing compliance and high-quality results that meet or exceed client expectations.Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress and maintaining clarity on project status, adjustments, and milestones.Adaptability to Unique Project Requirements: Demonstrate adaptability by responding to project-specific challenges, such as unconventional timelines, high-security protocols, or advanced technical specifications, ensuring project requirements are met with precision and flexibility. What you bring to the teamExperience in managing small to mid-sized construction projects, with a focus on interior renovations and maintenance services.Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes related to carpentry, drywall, concrete, flooring, woodworking, and finishes.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.A valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle and safely transport building materials to job sites.
\n$35 - $50 an hour
This is an hourly position with a high probability of overtime pay.
\nEssential Functions You must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb ladders, climb stairs, walk on uneven ground, have depth of perception to avoid excavations and other hazards, hear well enough to recognize the sounds of horns and sirens on moving equipment. There is a constant lifting of 10 lbs., frequent lifting of 25 lbs. There is standing up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift.
