Job Title: Specialist, Cyber Intelligence Job Code: 17399 Job Location: Canoga Park, CA Job Schedule: 9/80 Job Description: We are seeking a Specialist, Cyber Security in our Canoga Park, California facility. The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for classified information system(s) (IS). The Specialist, Cyber Security shall ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with Cognizant Security Agency (CSA) approved IS security policies and procedures. The Specialist, Cyber Security plays an active role in monitoring the system(s) and environment of operation, managing, and controlling changes to the system, and assessing the security impact of those changes to further advise the Information System Security Manager (SSM) and Facility Security Officer (FSO).
Essential Functions:
• Obtain and maintain DoD 8570 baseline certification
• Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the security authorization package
• Ensure audit records on multiple information system platforms are collected and analyzed in accordance with the approved security plan and discrepancies reported
• Attend technical and security training (e.g., operating system, networking, security management) relative to assigned compliance duties
• Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization and need-to-know, and are aware of their security responsibilities prior to granting access to systems
• Report all security-related incidents to the ISSM and/or FSO
• Conduct continuous monitoring of environments to ensure compliance with security authorization packages
• Serve as a compliance advisory member on the Configuration Control Board (CCB)
• Coordinate and document changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with Information Technology (IT) and/or ISSM prior to the change
• Notify the ISSM when changes occur that might affect system authorization
• Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly
• Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals
• Ensure audit records are collected and analyzed in accordance with the security plan
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Active US Secret Security Clearance strongly preferred
• Active DoD 8570 baseline certification (Security+ CE, CAP, GSLC, CASP CE, CISA, CISM, or CISSP)
• Experience working with information system security principles and practices
• Government compliance, regulations, and standards (NISPOM, DAAPM, RMF, JSIG, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DISA STIGS) with special emphasis on risk management framework (RMF) experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and/or Linux system administration (2+ years)
• Knowledge of system center configuration management (SCCM)
• Knowledge of security content automation protocol (SCAP)
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical professionals at all levels
• Ability to prepare and present reports to management
• Motivation and desire to thoroughly investigate, analyze, and document system issues and resolutions
• Ability to produce quality deliverables and to complete assigned projects on time

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in CA or WA is $85,500 - $158,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
