PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training programs that drive measurable performance improvementEffectively analyze training needsWork closely with SMEs and stakeholders to understand their needs, propose solutions, and develop customized training programsCommunicate with L&D team and larger department about roadblocks and work consistently towards solutionsManage L&D project deliverables and timelines to achieve goals, objectives, and quality expectationsDevelop and maintain project plans to communicate progress and actions required to meet deliverable expectationsUtilize project management technology to provide visibility to project progress and support the work of others on the teamIdentify high quality trainings from third parties that will address areas of need within the company; works with the training team to coordinate / schedule these trainingsAnalyze training needs through leadership & employee communication, surveys, shadowing, interviews, document review, etc.Creates assessments or tracking practices that effectively assess employees' ability to perform each trained skill Frequently collaborate with Lead Training Specialist and other members of the L&D teamCoordinate with the Primoris Corporate Office and other Primoris Business Units about training offerings and needs of the people on project sites When needed, assist L&D Team with communicating with leadership / learners in the fieldAssist with other L&D tasks and initiatives as directedCollege degree and previous experience in Instructional Design, Education, Construction, or related field.Ability to effectively design and evaluate trainingsExcellent skills in time management, working autonomously, creative thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and both verbal and written communication.Proficiency in backwards planning / ADDIE model / related techniquesProficiency in word processing, data collection, and presentation softwareAbility to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computersHighly organized person who can use planning and processes to support daily work Positive people skills and pleasant demeanor Punctual & dependable Passion for helping others PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Experience in developing construction-related trainingsProficient in capturing videos and editing videos Proficient in Spanish Proficiency in authoring tools (Captivate, Storyline, etc.
