JOB SUMMARY:
Provides an experienced level of knowledge, guidance, and execution of all Work Authorization responsibilities. Supports the administration and function of Universal Orlando Work Authorization review, documentation, and maintenance of standards. Produces on demand reporting. Supports that all functions within department are performed accurately and timely, adhering to daily departmental deadlines. Responsible for providing support, and guidance to Work Authorization Team Members. Builds and leverages partnerships across HR functional teams.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audits and verifies Work Authorization for quality assurance and legal compliance. Understands policies, procedures, regulations, and system requirements that drive departmental responsibilities. Utilizes necessary resources to assess and complete tasks related to Work Authorization documentation and new-hire onboarding. Uses knowledge in making decisions required to ensure data has been entered correctly and makes corrections to the data as applicable. Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
Supports and guides the team in processing of Success Factors, manual transactions and document review, and ad hoc reporting on a weekly basis making sure approvals are completed. Handles escalated transactions and communicates elevated situations in a timely manner to appropriate reports. Verifies that information is accurate and that documentation and reporting is then submitted properly via appropriate channels. Ensures that all deadlines are met on a daily and weekly basis for current and accurate candidate processing. Provides support for orientation hiring as needed. Maintains current knowledge and understanding of department responsibilities, workflows, and guiding policies/procedures.
Uses functional expertise and good customer service to provide support, training, and guidance to department staff regarding assigned tasks and appropriate rules and regulations. Answers questions and provides guidance to partners regarding Work Authorization transactions.
Provides input on process improvements and may aid in the testing and implementation of process/system changes as necessary. Assists in reviewing and closing open E-Verify cases within Department of Homeland Security guidelines. Assists in submitting and tracking tickets related to system and process issues.
Understand and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Management is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years Human Resources experience required.
Experience in a high volume, detail-oriented environment is preferred.
