Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time - St. Clair Shores, MI (24/25 SY) Location: St. Clair Shores, MI 48080 Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Start Date: September 9, 2024 End Date: June 13, 2025 Work Hours: Full-Time Work Environment: Onsite - Split between Middle School and Upper Elementary School Caseload: Starting around 50 students, max 65, including students with Mild Cognitive Impairment in a self-contained class Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in St. Clair Shores, MI for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, onsite position is split between a middle school and an upper elementary school, where you'll work with 5th-grade students and those in a self-contained Mild Cognitive Impairment class. Join a supportive school community and help students develop critical communication skills! Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of up to 65 students, starting closer to 50. Work with 5th-grade students and a self-contained class for students with Mild Cognitive Impairment. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students' speech and language development. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet individual needs. Qualifications: Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) OR Teaching Certificate with SLI endorsement AND Speech-Language Pathologist Limited License OR Master's degree (or higher) from an accredited program approved for a Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience in working with students with Mild Cognitive Impairment is a plus.
