Soliant is thrilled to partner with a distinguished school district in Manassas, VA, and we're currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for contract positions. About the School District: Our school district in Manassas, VA, is committed to providing exceptional education and support services to our diverse student population. Position Overview: Location: Manassas, VA Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Virginia SLP license Prior experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations Responsibilities: Develop and implement speech services following the frameworks of student IEPs (Individual Education Plans), state curriculum, or common core standards. Provide direct individual and/or group therapy. Provide clinical supervision to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants. Administer speech and language evaluations. Attend IEP meetings. Conduct and chair annual review meetings for students who receive speech/language services. Provide interdisciplinary programming by consulting with teachers and other therapeutic staff. Consult with classroom staff in implementing goals of all students. Collect, analyze, and maintain data on all students within the classroom. Conduct thorough evaluations necessary for quarterly progress reports, annual assessment, and reevaluations. Plan daily work schedule to meet the requirements for direct service minutes and utilize indirect time in accordance with District guidelines. Facilitate ongoing parent contact and encourage family involvement. Depending on student disabilities, propose interventions or supports that fall outside the realm of instruction, such as feeding or AAC use.
