ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a contracted position in San Leandro, CA. As an SLP with ProCare Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, helping individuals to improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on assessments.
Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
