Speech Language Pathologist (Slp)

National Home Health is an industry leader in post-acute home health care services. We are currently seeking a California Registered Speech Therapist who will be going to individual patient homes in order to provide treatment as ordered by the patient's physician.*Immediate needs in the following areas:* Contra Costa county*Job duties include but are not limited to the following:** Evaluates speech and language abilities and patient's level of function.* Plans and administers rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders.* Assists in developing and implementing the patient plan of care.* Observes, reports and records types of patient treatment as well as patient's progress and/or regression.* Submits written reports of patient progress at the designated intervals of every thirty (30) days and at discharge using the appropriate forms.* Selects and administers diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and material for patient evaluation and treatment purposes.* Instructs, teaches, supervises and counsels other applicable personnel and family members in methods of assisting the patient in improving, correction and/or accepting his or her disabilities.* Instructs, teaches and supervises the patient's family in the total speech therapy program.* Participates in in-service education and staff development activities.* Evaluates home environment and makes appropriate recommendations.* Performs other duties as assigned.*Qualifications:** ST must be a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.* Possess a Master's degree in speech pathology or its equivalent* At least one (1) year of supervised work experience with adult patients* Licensed by the California Board of Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers.We look forward to welcoming you to the National Home Health team!Job Type: Part-timePay: $62,221.00 - $110,244.00 per yearSchedule:* Monday to Friday* On callWork Location: On the road
