Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications: Required Education and Licensure: A masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completion of a supervised clinical fellowship as required by the state. Valid Georgia State License in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to obtain it. Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate (P-12) issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Additional Requirements: Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding special education and speech services. Proficiency in using technology and augmentative communication devices. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Background checks and clearances as required by Georgia law. Preferred Qualifications: Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting. Knowledge of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Bilingual proficiency is a plus. Position Summary: Were looking for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, youll work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges, giving them the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Youll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other staff to create personalized plans that truly make a difference in each students life. Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with students needs and goals. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress in the classroom. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed. Conduct screenings to identify students who may require further evaluation or services. Educate and provide resources to teachers and families about speech and language development. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and Section 504. Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
