Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Watkinsville, GA
Job Details:
Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Start Date: Late July, 2024
End Date: May 23, 2025
Role and Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address various communication disorders.
Direct Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, consulting with teachers and families to optimize students' learning experiences.
Record Maintenance: Keep detailed and accurate records of services provided and monitor student progress.
IEP Involvement: Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Caseload Information:
Students Served: Middle and high school students
Caseload: Approximately 50-60 students
Support: Para support available
Flexible Scheduling: Build your schedule based on your experience and preferences.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensure: Georgia state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
SLP CFs: Open to Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows.
