Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Florence, AZ. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students, helping them improve their communication skills for success in the classroom and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Assist the SLP in the implementation of speech and language therapy services as outlined in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings to address communication disorders. Support the SLP in conducting screenings and assessments. Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs. Participate in team meetings to review student progress and discuss interventions. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Valid Arizona SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one. Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
